I can only speak from my own experience here, but the graduation ceremony was the most retarded event I have attended (and probably will EVER attend) in my life. It was filled with nothing more than artificial love and praise, acting as if we--the class of '09--defied stereotypes (yes, this was actually said! Total BS!!) and acted like one giant, happy and close family. LIES! The only people that were actually acknowledged were those of the 'in-crowd,' which I have no issues with, because I've known most of them for nine years and they're nice people. However, this was a chance to acknowledge other people. Not even the Running Start students, which I one of, were mentioned. Well you know what, SHS, eff you. D:

I'm out, I'm gone, and that's all I really care about. ~Time to move on to bigger things that don't involve stupid sayings like, "We stayed together, even when drama tried to tear us apart." :| I can't, of course, set this as my Facebook status, so opted for "...is SOOOO happy that graduation and high school are DONE with!!" :]

I'm content with my graduation presents, too. I'm not very materialistic and I don't care to mention everything I got, but I'm happy that I received three of my great-grandmother's things. Two are religious artifacts, so I don't care about one of them (an angel pendent thing...), but I got her antique cross necklace <3 I won't wear it for religious purposes, but for the fact that it's an antique and I like crosses O_o

I'm sorry that I've been non-responsive-ish lately, because I hate responding to people more than a week after I get a comment or reply ;.; My citizenship teacher dumped an Advocacy Project on us six days before our last day of school... I won't make this a rant on school, but it's the reason I haven't been on or had time to talk to anyone.

But in other news, I graduate this Saturday. ^^ By no means am I amped up for the actual graduation ceremony, but I'll be happy to get a chance to see some of my friends for the last time. It's a bittersweet thing :[ One of my friends commented, "If you stay in Bellingham, we will meet again." T_T But I'll miss some underclassmen, too; specifically, two junior friends of mine. :'C

Howeveeerrr... what I'm really updating for is to vent my excitement over the somewhat revealed lineup for Seattle's Bumbershoot. :excited: Franz Ferdinand is playing on the SAME day as Modest Mouse! Imagine that O_O I thought--with my luck, especially--they would end up on separate days, but NO! :dance: Bumbershoot 3-day lineup: [link]

Hey, and we're getting hot, hot, hot weather over here. Yeah, that's right; don't let Stephanie Meyer delude you all into thinking all we have is rain in Western Washington. :] (Although, I'm not a fan of this heat. I demand that my rain return to me D: )

I don't have anything else to say or talk about really, so I'll end the journal here. ^^

The graduation ceremony was the most retarded event that I probably will EVER attend in my life, though. :ohnoes: D: BUT I'M OUT AND SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT :boing: This calls for some celebrating with Coldplay music and episodes of Lost, Heroes, or SPN >_> Nothin' like repeats! ...WOO! XD

D: I thought that since we don't live too far from each other that the weather would at least be similar... O_O Kind of like how we didn't know you lived three hours in the future :omfg: !! HAHA.

Agh same here, I have not gone to my public school or high school graduation. For me I'm like just give me my diploma and whatever stupid crappy award you wanted to give me in front of a whole bunch people which would totally embarrass me and I am outta here! :salute: Did you get any awards from your grad? :o

Wooo man! Gotta love those darn repeats. >_> I want sept/oct to come sooooon so new eps come back...

Oh man the weather here is all messed. I mean where I am now it could be a massive downpour and 10-20 min away from me it's perfectly sunny and crap like that. :noes:

Eck, and the principle and allll the teachers and students who were speaking kept talking as if the class of '09 from my school were one happy family and we all had each other's back. :laughing:

Yeah, no awards for me :] Did you get any awards? :lol: It did make me mad, though, because I have a GPA between 3.5 and 3.9 and I worked pretty hard for that to be on my transcript, ya know? :ohnoes: So on the program sheet, it lists all the graduates with special symbols by people's naes... Like two stars if they were on honor roll, another symbol if they were valid victorian, and one star if the GPA was between 3.5. and 3.9. ... The skipped my name!! I gots no star! D:

O_O I'LL TRADE YOU WEATHER! It differs between sunny and breezy to hot and humid over here D:

Pfft...haha "had each other's back" NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE has each other's back in high school. I mean stabbing in the back, framing, you name it. :noes: Unless we're lucky enough to have that ONE person you trust like no other watching your back then yeah. :paranoid: *whoa, total rant or what?* :D

Yeah I did, I got the "Kind Spirit Award" :roll: Which I tossed dans la poubelle a year later. :D

If it was snowing and you had none, that's the only time I'd trade weather, or if it's uber hot here and it's cool there. :lol:

Massena sounds familiar, but I think I found out how far away we are from each other now. We live on opposite coasts D= Or you're just really far up North, because I'm near Seattle and the link you gave me talks about New York. Which would make sense considering the three hour time difference :slow: XD

I'm still trying to see if I can find a video of his dance with the teachers reactions captured on film. :XD: I still have the officer's reaction in my head :lmao:
